RETURN OF THE DARK AGES-POPE CONDEMNS WITCHCRAFT

LUANDA, Angola – "Pope Benedict XVI appealed to the Catholics of Angola on Saturday to reach out to and convert believers in witchcraft who feel threatened by "spirits" and "evil powers" of sorcery.

In Africa, some churchgoing Catholics also follow traditional animist religions and consult medicine men and diviners who are condemned by the church. People accused of sorcery or of being possessed by evil powers sometimes are killed by fearful mobs.

Benedict counseled Catholics to "live peacefully" with animists and other nonbelievers and urged Angolans to be the "new missionaries" to bring people who believe in sorcery to Christ." (AP)

So here is the deal, the Pope wants to get rid of the old religions and convert the Africans to Catholics. Does this sound familiar? Has not this always been the problem of organized religion? There is no desire to respect and live side-by-side with others of different beliefs. One cannot help but wonder who is burning and murdering those who are "filled with evil?" Christians, maybe? Why are medicine men and diviners condemned by the Church? Do you not think that inflames murder? The WAKING GOD books explain the problems of organized religion and why they serve to divide people, stir enmity and promote violence. This is a return to the Dark Age thinking. Actually, the Church has never really left the Dark Ages. Fundamental Protestants, Muslims, Hindus and Catholics seek to make everyone like them, regardless of the cost. As we move closer to 2012, adherents to these outdated ideas are becoming more violent. They are losing their grip on society, as well they should, but are also reverting to witch hunts to silence those who dissent. Want to know why many have problems using the Law of Attraction to better their lives, just read religious headlines.
