Would It Be Such A Bad Thing If The World Did End?

We are on the slide side of 2012 as we head toward December 21st. Many of you have probably heard all of the pundits disclaiming that the Maya were prophesying that date as the end of the world; just the end of an old and beginning of a new cycle. Of course, in its own way, that is the end of one world and the beginning of another.

The Stone Age, Bronze and Iron Ages completely changed the world. many died and others lived. The Dark Ages was another epoch change that altered the lives of many, many died, many lived. The Age of Enlightenment was a mind boggling change. Can't you just see those old church cronies and kings and nobles shaking their heads in disgust as science came of age and the thoughts of Rousseau and Locke became popular? Many heads rolled, but many didn't. Clearly, the Industrial Age, the Age of Technology and the current Age of Information forever altered both human history and the history of most living things on the globe. Many died, many lived.

So here we are once again, the changing of Ages. The big difference this time is that it is all happening very fast. So fast, in fact, that it is cataclysmic. When Ages evolve, there is time to grow accustomed to the new ideas and ways of living. But, when the Age is a Revolution, the story is very different and often the turmoil brings many more deaths, grander destruction and a violent change of ideas. Ask yourself, is it really so bad to start a new world? Human history is replete with such events and, for now, we are still here. Oh, it is worth noting that the extent of the change of Ages seems to be exponential; each creating changes on a grander scale and impacting more people.

The Age that has been predicted is upon us. Wherever you look, fast changes are happening. Those changes will not stop on 12/21/12. In fact, things will probably really get cranked after that date. Where those changes take YOU will depend on your response, or your reaction to events. This is truly, THE TIME OF CHOOSING. Every minute, every choice you make, will determine the nature of your New World. Isn't that exciting!
