NO CROSSES THIS 'GOOD FRIDAY'

Jesus did not die on the cross to save you from your sins. Aside from the fact that he really did not die on the cross,he never said, "I am going to be crucified so you can live a sinful life but all will be forgiven, no matter what you do, as long as you believe I am your savior."

People want the easy way out. They want to steal from the poor, beat their wives, cheat their partners, lie, squander, rape, pillage and plunder and then proclaim that all is forgiven because we Jesus gave his life so we are forgiven. The arrogance and ignorance of this belief never ceases to amaze me.

Christianity is the only religion that worships the symbol of a bloody corpse on a cross. The cries of, 'he suffered for me' so that I will be forgiven go against all of the basic tenets of every religion, including the true teaching of Jesus.

Even at a rudimentary level of understanding, it is clear that the so called crucifixion is a metaphor. Not about suffering, but about the fact that in order to evolve spiritually, one must die to the illusion of this world and then rise to higher levels of consciousness in order to see truth.

Sorry folks, the sooner you recognize the inner teachings of Jesus and the meanings of his parables and the events that surrounded his life, the sooner you will die to religious dogma and be resurrected into the light of true spirituality.

Blessings!
