Okay, the Taliban does not represent the Muslim majority. However, under the banner of Islam, the Taliban is gobbling up Pakistan-making a bridge form Afghanistan to Kashmir. Why would they want to do that unless they plan on stirring the fire between India and Pakistan? This is just another exanmple of unbridled religion creating chaos and turmoil that can only lead to more death and destruction.
The Pakistan policy of appeasement brings memories of Nazi Germany. In that case, Christians stood by has millions were slaughtered. In this case, millions of Muslims are standing by as who knows what will come next. Throughout history, religions have either generated hate and death, or idly watched as others committed atrocities in their name.
